Design Process
Geoshot was designed around a single idea: location sharing should feel deliberate and visually clear. The app evolved through iterations that simplified the interface and kept the map itself as the main character.
The interactive map is built on MapKit, with a focus on quick navigation, precise pin placement, and minimal chrome. Customization options such as pin colors were refined to give users control.
The grid overlay feature was introduced to solve a practical problem: social posts often crop or constrain images. By showing a grid before capture, Geoshot lets users frame their maps exactly as they will appear when shared.
